SUNIL GEORGE Founder and Director

Sunil George, the Founder Director of Stimulus Consulting, has over 16 years experience in Management Training across a cross-section of industries across Asia Pacific.

In December 1996, he was nominated among the top 3 Human Resource Managers in India for the H & FS award for excellence in hospitality. In January 1997 he moved into Apex Training Services as a Trainer Consultant and was actively involved in customized Corporate Training in a variety of disciplines across the country. He was also the Founder - Director of Equitrain Consultants (P) Ltd in 1997. During March 2004, he was awarded the Rashtriya  Rattan Award from the Global Economic Council for his outstanding individual achievements and distinguished contribution to the nation. Today after being Crotonville Certified, he spends the majority of his time on projects across  different  GE businesses.

He is an MBA, and trains the best of Corporates across Asia-Pacific.

RAJANGA SIVAKUMAR
He has over 28 years total HP experience and retired in July 1999. He has worked in several positions in Marketing, Support and General Management.  Last position General Manager for south and General Manager Quality in HP India.

He was a member of the HP India Functional Management Team since inception for over 11 years. In HP Quality is responsible in leading process definition and integration, performance measurement, and driving improvements that result in increased customer loyalty and business results. He was part of the management team which supported and reviewed many process improvement teams in India.

Since 1999 he is perusing several independent assignments in the areas of Business Excellence. These include Leadership, Managing for Excellence, Business Planning, Customer Focus, Process Management, Process improvement, Six Sigma methodologies, Project Management, Surveys (Employees’ Satisfaction, Customer Satisfaction, Leadership Assessment, 360 Degrees), Communication, Team Work, Negotiation Skills etc.

He headed the team that spearheaded the preparation of the application for the CII Business Excellence Award in 1997. This is based on the EFQM Business Excellence Model. HP India was the first recipient of this prestigious award.  HP India was also one of the HP sites to receive the HP President's Quality Award in 1998.

He is a senior assessor under the CII-EXIM Business Excellence program in India, since 1997. He has had the opportunity to be part of the teams that assessed such organizations as ICIM (Fujitsu), TISCO, HINDALCO, AT&S (Nanjangud), Tata Liebert (Mumbai), BHEL (Tiruchi), JVSL, Titan, L&T (ECC), NDPL-Delhi, GCPL etc. He has also been associated as an advisor at different times with Trigyn Technologies, Tecnova-Delhi, HP eGlobal, BHEL-Tiruchi, BHEL-PSNR, BHEL-Haridwar, Vestas India etc. as an advisor. He was part of the CII team which did an assessment of the processes in Tata Motors early in 2006.

SUDHIR GULVADY

Sudhir brings with him a rich experience of over 25 years in Sales and Marketing at Regional and National Levels with reputed Companies like Esso Standard Eastern Inc a subsidiary of Standard Oil of NJ USA, Indian Aluminum Co a wholly owned subsidiary of Aluminum Company of Canada, Rane, Amalgamations and Sahney Groups.

A Post Graduate in Marketing and Advertising he has been consulting companies since 1994, in the field of Engineering and IT Enabled Services.
Having attended Management Development Programs such as the Senior Management Program at IIM Ahmedabad & Marketing Strategy in Administrative Staff College of India Hyderabad, he now leads the Stimulus team as Head Organizational Development.
His areas of Core Competencies are Sales and Marketing, Marketing Planning, Budgeting, Financial and Management Controls, Increasing Sales Force Efficiency, Business Strategy and Marketing Strategy, Commercial Negotiations etc.  He has conducted 'in house' training programs for Increasing Sales Force Efficiency, Marketing Communication, and Commercial Negotiations etc.

KIRAN SOMANATH

Kiran Somanath comes with 14 years of experience in varied fields of the Hospitality Industry,

and Training and Development. After acquiring a Diploma in Hotel Management, he joined as Lobby Manager at The Holiday Inn Resort in Goa, and later, at Holiday Inn, Bangalore. During his tenure there, he took over the reins of the Training Department from Sunil George.

In 1997 Kiran joined the Taj Group of Hotels as a Training Executive attached to the Corporate Training Cell for Southern India. With the Taj Group he rendered his services at various units, including the Taj Exotica in Sri Lanka. Here he headed the Front Office Department, and also actively contributed to the overall training of the employees. He was also entrusted with the special task of training the staff and executives at the Samudra in Colombo, which was preparing then to play host to the seven Heads of State and other dignitaries attending the SAARC Summit in July 1998. He was also appointed as the Quality Co-ordinator for The Taj West End in Bangalore.

He now heads the training operations at Stimulus. He has trained with companies like Wipro, Hewlett Packard, GE Transportation, Honeywell Software, Cisco Systems, Infosys Technologies, Philips Software, Softline Solutions, Robert Bosch, Healthscribe, TVSE, BPL Telecom, Crompton Greaves, BPL Connect, TNT World Wide Ltd., Spice telecom, Mahindra & Mahindra, Shopper's Stop, Motorola India Electronics, Deutsche Software, Intel, Ampersand, Customer Asset, First Ring,  Siri Technologies WNS- Speedwings (a sister concern of British Airways) etc.
He is also a certified faculty for Accenture.

JAYA NAIR

Jaya Nair is an established behavioral skills trainer and brings 25 years of rich experience to Stimulus, from the field of behavioral skills training, employee counseling and organizational development. She has considerable expertise in helping organizations identify and focus on business performance leverage using human resource as an asset, and applying global people practices.

Jaya’s background includes many years as a counselor and trainer. She has been collaborating with leading IT and ITES organizations, government bodies and academic institutions in her pursuit to impart behavioral skills for greater individual and organizational effectiveness. Her work experience has been focused on two areas:

Training – Leadership & Managerial Effectiveness, Inter & Intrapersonal skills, Team Effectiveness, Business Communication, Peak Performance, Cross Cultural Sensitization and many more.

Counseling – Personal and professional

She has held management positions at leading IT organizations in the past. She has served as HR Consultant to Siemens Information Systems Ltd and managed the talent engagement and development function. She has also been a HR consultant to several IT companies for their organizational development initiatives. Jaya has also been a faculty member at various academic institutions and facilitated trainings for international government bodies such as W.H.O.

Jaya holds a Certificate in Management from I.I.M. Kolkata, and graduated with Literature from L.S.R. College, Delhi.

In the past, she has conducted workshops with reputed corporate houses such as Capgemini, Siemens, Xsysys etc. and some government bodies like Indian Police Force.

D. SATHYANAND

Sathyanand comes with a vast experience of over 40 years in various capacities, with national and multi-national companies.

Sathyanand started his career in the field of Sales & Marketing. In this field, he grew up from the rank of a Field Officer through Branch Manager and Area Manager to Senior Manager Operations. During this period, he has been associated with reputed corporate houses like Indian Schering Limited, Avery India Limited, HCL Limited and the ITES division of Aysha Pvt. Ltd. His tenure with these companies gave him ample exposure into a variety of industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Engineering Equipment, Office Automation, Mobile Phones and Textiles.

In all the earlier companies he has worked with, apart from his exposure into operations, he had also taken up the additional responsibility of training his team members as well as other employees of the organization. This had helped him gain tremendous experience in the area of training, that later became a passion.

This prompted him to take up the role of Training Manager at Aysha Pvt. Ltd., with their newly launched ITES project. In this capacity, he has trained a considerable amount of Executives.

Sathyanand’s training expertise spans across a variety of topics. Some of them are: Selling Skills, Customer Interaction, Communication Skills, Personal Development, Team Management & Leadership and Call Centre Skills.

MAHA DEVAN

Maha Devan is a Senior Consultant with Stimulus. He is a BE in Electronics & Communications, and has joined Stimulus after more than 25 years of experience in organizations like KELTRON, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Information Management Resources (IMR), Amsoft Information Services and Perot Systems (formerly known as HCL Perot Systems-HPS).

Starting his career as a software programmer at Keltron, he has worked in many prestigious projects like the Automatic Ticketing Systems at Calcutta Metro, Automation of Trunk Exchanges for P&T, Monitors for Thermal Power Plants, etc. At TCS, he was heading the Offshore Development Centre for American Express at Bangalore. He was Group Manager at IMR and was Business Unit Head at Amsoft Information Systems.

Before joining Stimulus, he was heading the Perot team at UBS Singapore, which got him the Associate of the Year award from Perot for his extra-ordinary work.  As part of various assignments he has worked in Europe, US and Singapore. 

While successfully delivering software projects at various organizations, he always took extra efforts in developing the people working with him. Accepted as one of the best people managers, he spends lot of his time in mentoring activities. After a long stint in the Project / Account management areas, he has joined Stimulus to share his experiences to a wide variety of people and to help them succeed in their chosen career.

Having ample hands-on experience in the field of IT, one of his core strengths is in the field of Project Management and related training.

SUMATHY HARIDAS
Sumathy Haridas joins Stimulus Consulting as a Consultant with an overall experience of 15 years. During this period,she has been
closely associated with Training and Development.


Apart from her experience in training, Sumathy has had exposure into a variety of industries in India as well as abroad. A graduate in Life Sciences, she has worked with the Allied Health Institute of Kuwait University as a Research Assistant for five years. Later she joined the HR team of Kothari Group in Chennai, which was into international exports. At Kothari, she was in charge of the HR functions of the corporate office.

Before transitioning into full time training, Sumathy has also worked with Toys Kemp Pvt. Ltd. as Deputy General Manager, Franchise. In this capacity, she was in-charge of coordinating the business among all the franchisee stores across India. This also gave her a platform to conduct various training sessions for the sales force within, on different sales related modules.  

Sumathy’s career as a full time trainer consultant started with Accord Consultants, one of the pioneers in soft skill training; and later with Peak Performance Trainings Pvt. Ltd. as Manager-Training. This experience has provided her the opportunity to work with some of the reputed Indian and multinational corporate houses. Some of the companies she has been associated with, are: Infosys Technologies, Hewlett Packard, IBM, ABB, Fidelity Group, Symbian, HAL, Swiss Re, Conexant, Ashok Leyland Ltd., Jain group of Institutes, LuK India, St: Gobain, Air Tel, Tory Harris, Flextronics and Cap Gemini.

B.G.MISKIN
Miskin comes with a wide ranging experience and exposure in various sectors.  For eight years he was associated with the Banking industry where he was actively involved in mentoring and in-house training and development activities. He developed and delivered modules on Planning, Advances, Customer Handling and Personal Effectiveness for freshers and middle level officers.

He has been a successful entrepreneur thereafter accumulating an enviable experience in organization-building and management techniques.  He was frequently invited by his alma mater as a resource person to share his rich experience with the outgoing students during “First Generation Entrepreneur Program”.

Training and people development being his passion, he returned to this field. During his association with different training organization, he has delivered programs on Effective Communication Skills, Time & Activity Management, Presentation Skills, Team Dynamics, Language Skills, Interpersonal Relations, Assertiveness Training, Customer Orientation and Campus to Corporate.

He has trained a wide spectrum of participants from sales personnel, engineers, professionals to businessmen across a host of institutions and corporate houses.  A few of them include: Perot Systems, Hewlett Packard, Honeywell, SAP India, SAP Labs, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, Novartis, Infotech Enterprises Ltd, Tata Teleservices, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Microfinish Valves Ltd., etc.

RAMA CHANDRUDU

Rama Chandrudu joins the Stimulus team as a trainer consultant, and is currently managing its operations in Hyderabad. Rama comes with a wealth of experience from a variety of areas, ranging from field sales to electronic media, training, and management. Prior to Stimulus he has had a long association with Zee Tele-films (Zee TV) as Senior Manager – Operations, based in Hyderabad.

Along with his Degree in Commerce, he holds a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and Psychotherapy. Acquiring this qualification has had a catalytic effect on his passion for helping people identify and develop their inner potentials, and be more successful. Moving into the field of corporate training, hence, was a natural progression.

Rama has been in the field of training for the past 6 years, and has trained a multitude of people across different profiles. In the past, he has been associated with some of the leading corporate houses and institutes, and has been well appreciated for his training interventions. Capital IQ, Amway India, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hewlett Packard, Care Hospitals, Vivekanada Institute of Human Excellence, BSNL, and Life Insurance Corporation are a few of them.

He is an International Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association. He has also been contributing his articles to a few of the web sites on psychology and related areas.
